Semper Fi!

This latin phrase which means “Always Faithful” was instilled in me when I first set foot on the yellow footprints at Marine Corps. Recruit Depot in San Diego, California. I had carried that phrase throughout my adult life, and it has served my clients well, as Semper Law is “Always Defending.”

As the owner of Semper Law, I am proud to use my professional and personal experiences in getting the best outcome for my clients’ cases. From simple misdemeanors, to Class A felonies, I have been very successful in making this happen. For over 25 years, I have been entrenced within the criminal justice system. This started immediately after serving 5 years active duty as a United States Marine. I went into law enforcement and conducted complex criminal investigations as a Detective. From then, I worked as a prosecutor and eventually transitioned into criminal defense. All of these years equipped me with the necessary tools in order to always defend those who can’t defend themselves. I have successfully handled cases from simple misdemeanors, sex offenses, homicides, assaults, property crimes, VUCSA, weapons offenses, financial crimes, juvenile offenders, DUIs and vehicle related offenses. The transition from prosecution to defense only worked in the favor of my clients, having someone on their side who knows the playbook from both sides of the criminal proceedings. I understand completely how a person’s life can change forever based on incomplete or rushed investigation, and rushed filing of alleged criminal offense. This should not be happening.
